On Friday 9th November all children saw the Power of One anti-bullying performances, which gave clear messages about the different roles in bullying and how we can all use the Power of One to tackle it if we see it taking place.
It is national Anti-bullying week next week, so we will be reinforcing key messages in classes over the week. The theme for anti-bullying week this year is Choose Respect. If you’d like to find out more about this, please visit: https://www.anti-bullyingalliance.org.uk/anti-bullying-week/anti-bullying-week-2018-choose-respect. One of the suggestions from the Anti-bullying Alliance is that we all wear odd socks to school one day. This will reinforce the message that it is OK to be different. As we are hoping to wear something spotty on Friday to support Children in Need, this would be a good opportunity to wear odd socks too.
