Higher Level Teaching Assistant to work mainly in Key Stage 2

32.5 hours per week, Term Time Only + 1 week

Band 8 New NJC SCP’s 17-22


The Governors seek to appoint a skilled, high quality professional to join the strong staff team in this high performing, popular and friendly school.

The prime objectives of the post include:

  • Taking responsibility for agreed learning activities under an agreed system of supervision
  • Delivering some whole class provision as part of our CPD and PPA programme, under the direction of teachers
  • Cover for classes as needs arise
  • Working 1:1 and with small groups on catch-up and booster programmes
  • Working independently and with class teachers to facilitate pupil attainment and progress
  • Contribute towards pupil attainment tracking and reporting

Casual Lunchtime Supervisors

Casual Lunchtime Supervisors are required to work on an ad-hoc basis alongside our permanent Lunchtime Supervisor Team. The rate of pay is £8.62 per hour. Applicants are welcome to apply at any time for Casual Lunchtime Supervisor vacancies, there is no closing date for applications.
