The School Council is a group of children democratically elected by their classmates to represent their views and to help the school to make good decisions and improve the school.
The School Council meets half-termly and they take class suggestions, discuss them at meetings and collect class votes and ideas. The meetings are minuted and the School Councillors have opportunities to report back to their classes and develop ideas. We think our School Councillors help to make our school a better place.
Sometimes at special events the School Councillors represent our school for example at the Menston Armistice Memorial.
A chance to meet your child’s next teacher for the academic year 2022/23 in their classroom.
