Care Club Playworker

There are exciting opportunities to become a Playworker at our very popular before and after school Care Club based in Menston Primary School

Band 3 (£9.43 per hour) or Band 4 (£9.62 to £9.81 per hour) according to qualifications and experience.

Part time, permanent and fixed term, term time only positions are available, and candidates should be willing to work 2 or more sessions per week.  Morning sessions are 7.45 am to 9.00 am and afternoon sessions are 3.00 pm to 5.30/6.15 pm.  We are happy to consider candidates who wish to work only mornings, only afternoons or a mixture of both and will discuss working patterns with candidates at interview.  Previous candidates need not reapply.

Our Care Club is a well-established, friendly and caring 75 place, play based before and after school care facility for Menston Primary School children, with tremendous indoor and outdoor facilities. We have our own dedicated Care Club playrooms and a wide variety of appealing outdoor play spaces.

We would welcome applications from anyone with an enthusiasm and interest in working with and developing young children. We encourage people from all walks of life to apply so that we gain a wide variety of skills and experience to support and develop our provision.  New staff are fully supported with a full induction programme and ongoing training. In your application you should clearly outline any existing experience of working with children in either a paid or voluntary capacity, and any relevant hobbies or interests you have.

Outdoor Learning and Resource Technician

10 hours per week in the first instance, Term Time Only

The actual days and hours worked will be discussed with shortlisted candidates at interview

 Band 3 SCP2 £9.43 per hour (pay award pending)

 

There is an exciting opportunity to become an Outdoor Learning and Resource Technician at Menston Primary School to start in the autumn term 2021.

Menston Primary School is in a beautiful semi-rural setting and has a happy and caring environment. The successful candidate will work as part of our welcoming and friendly team to provide high quality support in all areas of outdoor learning. Our large grounds require specific maintenance duties in order that children can access the highest quality outdoor learning experiences.

Casual Lunchtime Supervisors

Term Time Only, £9.25 per hour

There is an exciting opportunity to become a Casual Lunchtime Supervisor. The successful candidates will work as part of our welcoming and friendly team on a casual basis to provide high quality dining and play experiences for all pupils during lunchtime.  Menston Primary School is in a beautiful semi-rural setting and has a happy and caring environment.

Announcements

Please report all absences to the school office before 8:30 am. We have a 24 hour absence line 01943 873180 where you can leave a message to let us know what the reason for absence is. You must not send any child in to school if they are displaying the symptoms of Covid-19. Please keep them off school and book a PCR test. If your child has sickness or diarrhoea they must be kept off school for 48 hours after the last bout of illness.
