Making our world a better place

School Meals & Meal Payments

From September 2026, our school meals will be provided by Impact Food Group’s Hutchinson Catering, who has been awarded with the catering contract for our Moorlands learning Trust primary schools. All meals are cooked on site within our school kitchen.

As part of this change, we will be using School Grid, an online system for ordering and paying for school meals.

Parents/carers will need to pre-book school meals for their child(ren) through School Grid.

To ensure your child is catered for safely, parents/carers are responsible for entering and keeping up to date all allergy information, dietary requirements and special dietary needs within their School Grid account.

Parents can view the School Grid parent information video here.

Provision is made for children who wish to bring a packed lunch. Please do not send glass bottles, cans or flasks. Parents are asked not to include crisps/sweets/chocolate and to help us promote “5 a day” with healthy fruit and vegetable choices. Please do not bring food/drink containing allergens such as nuts or sesame.

School Meal Pricing

From September 2026, the price of a school meal will be to £2.83 per day / £14.15 per week.

Please note: we cannot accept payment via cash or cheque. All school meal payments should be made using School Grid.
