School Meals

Our school meals will be provided by Bradford Council’s Facilities Management (FM).  Weekly menus will be displayed in the school dining hall. There is also a Primary School Meals App that can be downloaded here.

Provision is made for children who wish to bring a packed lunch.  Please do not send glass bottles, cans or flasks.  Parents are asked not to include crisps/sweets/chocolate and to help us promote “5 a day” with healthy fruit and vegetable choices.

Please note that from Monday 30 October 2023 the cost of school meals are going up to £2.20 per day or £11 per week.

School meals should be paid for using ParentPay. You can access your account by logging in here.

Please do not send in payment via cash or cheque.

Did you know that your child is entitled to a free school meal if you are receive any of the following benefits?

The school receives additional funding for any children who are receipt of free school meals. It is therefore very important that any family eligible for school meals claim them. If you are eligible but do not wish to claim you must contact Mrs Smitheringale directly. Please be assured this will be dealt with in the strictest confidence.

We are extremely happy to share with you that Menston Primary School has achieved Silver Award Status for the United Against Bullying Programme.
Our My Happy Mind theme for this half term is ‘Appreciate’. The Appreciate module teaches children to understand why gratitude matters and how we can develop gratitude as a habit. Gratitude is key to wellbeing and resilience and we’re all about making it a habit!
