Menston Primary School

Making our world a better place

Care Club

We provide quality childcare and are passionate about the value of play; our Care Club is based in a suite of playrooms and outreach into other areas within school.  We also take advantage of the appealing outdoor play spaces in our school grounds.

The club is staffed by a team of dedicated professional play workers, led by a trained and experienced manager, Heather Searle and Deputy Manager, Michelle Emsley.

Our wide variety of activities include creative junk modelling, arts and crafts, baking, den-building, dressing up, ‘home corner’, games, fun competitions, singing and dancing or ‘chilling out’ with friends.  We are proactive in getting to know our children, so that we can offer activities that are tailored to their interests.  Sometimes our play is based around a special theme and everyone is welcome to contribute ideas.

A healthy breakfast option is provided for those attending morning sessions.

All childcare places must be pre-booked directly with Care Club.  To register for membership, please contact the Care Club Manager, Heather Searle directly on 01943 883927 or email at heather.searle@menstonprimary.co.uk

Care Club is a popular facility and as places are limited, please ensure that you register your interest as early as possible, as we do have a waitlist for some sessions.

We look forward to hearing from you and welcoming your child into Care Club.

Announcements

We are extremely happy to share with you that Menston Primary School has achieved Silver Award Status for the United Against Bullying Programme.
Our My Happy Mind theme for this half term is ‘Appreciate’. The Appreciate module teaches children to understand why gratitude matters and how we can develop gratitude as a habit. Gratitude is key to wellbeing and resilience and we’re all about making it a habit!
